Your spreadsheet doesn’t lie

A sack of raw potatoes
10 kg

After peeling, about 8 kg reaches the plate. The rest is skins, eyes, water, electricity and hours at the peeler.

Ready to Eat from us
10 kg

You buy 10 kg of steam-cooked potatoes and exactly 10 kg ends up on the plates. No fridge, no preservatives.

Example with a 20% peeling loss. The real loss depends on variety, season and peeler. Enter yours in the calculator.

It all started with carrots

For three generations we have been growing vegetables on the Vistula Delta, 3 km from Gdańsk city centre. The Tricity’s restaurants were always right next door, so we sell to them directly.

The owners of a juice bar in the Old Town could not keep up with peeling carrots for juice. So we bought a second-hand peeler and started delivering peeled carrots. Today we do it on a full line, for a much longer list of vegetables.

Read our story
  1. 1996

The first peeled carrots for a juice bar in Gdańsk Old Town. Black bags at first, then buckets of water.

  2. Later

The KMAR milk bar in Przymorze orders potatoes, beetroot, celeriac, onions and parsley root. We deliver by car.

  3. 2006

We buy a complete line from a Dutch farmer. The vegetables now go into vacuum bags.

  4. Today

Peeled, cut and steam-cooked vegetables without preservatives, all year round.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between peeled vegetables and Ready to Eat?

Peeled vegetables are raw: we wash, peel, cut and vacuum-pack them, and you cook them yourself. Ready to Eat vegetables are already steam-cooked and packed. After opening, just rinse and heat them up or serve them cold.

Do you use preservatives?

No. Peeled vegetables are protected by vacuum packing, and steam-cooked ones are pasteurised, much like home-made preserves.

Do the cooked vegetables need refrigeration?

No. Although they contain no preservatives, steam-cooked vegetables do not need to be kept refrigerated. Think of them as pasteurised home preserves. The best-before date is on the label.

Don’t peeled potatoes turn brown?

We grow varieties that do not discolour after peeling and are not watery. Grown with less fertiliser and on manure, they keep their colour even the next day.

Who is this for?

Restaurants, milk bars and bistros, canteens, caterers, hotels and food producers making pierogi, potato pancakes, dumplings or salads.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across the Tricity area (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) and work with customers in other regions too. Tell us where you need deliveries, including outside Poland, and we will check the options.

Can I get a sample first?

Yes. Tick the box in the quote form or ask on the phone, and we will prepare a sample for you to test in your kitchen.

What is the minimum order?

It is agreed individually, depending on the vegetables, cut and delivery location. The easiest way is to call us or fill in the short quote form.
