A family farm on the Vistula Delta

For three generations we have been growing vegetables 3 km from Gdańsk city centre. Since 1996 we have been peeling them for the Tricity’s restaurants, and today for customers in other regions as well.

The Stawski family farm

The busy Tricity market steered us early on towards growing for, and selling directly to, restaurants and canteens. We deliver to kitchens we know and listen to what they need.

In 1996, while delivering carrots to a juice bar in Gdańsk Old Town, the idea came up to deliver them already peeled. Guests loved the juice, but the owners could not keep up with the peeling. We bought a second-hand twin-drum peeler and started delivering peeled carrots, first in tied black bags and later in buckets of water.

Our next customer was the well-known KMAR milk bar in Gdańsk Przymorze. Besides carrots it bought peeled potatoes, beetroot, celeriac, onions and parsley root from us. We delivered them by car.

In 2006 we bought a complete line from a Dutch farmer who was giving up vegetable production. Since then our peeled vegetables have been packed in clear vacuum bags.

Every year we add something new: cut vegetables, then steam-cooked vegetables with no preservatives. The goal stays the same: high-quality vegetables with great taste, all year round.

Why the Vistula Delta

The soils of the Vistula Delta (Żuławy) are among the most fertile in Poland. They give our beetroot and carrots their deep colour and our potatoes their taste. Our fields are right next to the city, so the road from harvest to kitchen is short.
